In terms of structural design, the biggest difference between an electric tailgate and a normal tailgate is the load. The maximum load of the electric strut output is above 3000N, while the gas strut is only about 1000N. This means that the tailgate and body that connect the sides of the electric strut must be designed to be strong enough to withstand deformation under heavy loads.
For single-sided electric strut, it is necessary to check the matching gap between the tailgate and the body when the output loads of the two sides of the strut are inconsistent under the limit conditions. For the double-sided electric strut, the output of the single electric strut is much smaller, but it is also considered that the left and right motor work is inconsistent, and the output load is different, causing the torsion deformation of the tailgate.
