The reason that Allroad A6 adds electric suction door is very simple, a few cars in owner's house all carry electric sucking door function, now this car does not bring, family is used to take door gently, but cannot close door instead.
The later installation of the electric suction door is to replace the lock with the electromagnetic coil. When the door opens, the electromagnetic field is formed. When the door closes to the door frame close to the door, the door will automatically close to the lock until the lock is locked.
Electric suction door installation is not difficult, remove the door plate, the original factory lock block replacement.
The electric suction door has a distance of less than 5mm at the lock contact point (see video). In this small gap range, there is no clamping function. Although the gap is not plugged into the finger to be clamped, it is also necessary to avoid cramming into small objects during use.
